Elegant Peacock - Hand-Crafted Wood burning (Pyrography) on Birch or Basswood

Beautiful wood-burned peacock, lightly colored with chalk. Finished with high gloss shine. In Christianity, the peacock symbols indicate eternal life and the Resurrection because Peacock sheds its own feathers every year, and they grow back to their glory and grandeur. In Native American symbolism, the peacock's meaning is wellness, splendor, and poise. All my work is hand made with TLC on basswood or birch. Each piece can be finished with epoxy for a high-gloss shine, or a tinted oil for a deeper, richer effect. Or it can be left natural. I can even add colour if you'd like!
